Description

A Bali holiday villa by the Indian Ocean : Superior Villa.

Step into a whimsical world filled with luxury and adventure at its doorsteps. Villa l’Orange is an exclusive beach front property that is flanked by the Southeast coastline. Situated in the charming Gianyar region of the island, guests will find themselves within close proximity to villages like Sukhavati and the historic city of Ubud, famous for its artistic heritage. The sleepy fishing village of Cucukan plays host to this Bali holiday villa by the ocean.
Guests can experience the daily workings of rural life just beyond the walls of their holiday home, be it a stroll through the tiny picturesque village or getting a glimpse of the local fishermen reel in their catch at sunrise. Cucukan is also renowned for its surf breaks, and surfing aficionados are drawn to the waves along this strand. Villa l’Orange sits upon a vast expanse of land that is shared between the Superior Villa, the Beach Villa, the Pool Villa and a privately used fourth villa in such a way, that privacy is guaranteed.

A romantic getaway for two.

This romantic one bedroom Superior Villa is wedged within foliage of tropical greenery, isolating it from the outside world. Comprised of a luxurious bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a sprawling dining room, a kitchen and verandas that boast stunning views of the gardens and ocean, this stunning Bali holiday villa greets the guests with a sense of simplistic luxury to bring to light the finer things in life.
Built with traditional thatched capped roofs and embellished with local craftsmanship, the Superior Villa of villa l’Orange retains the comforts of modern luxury with contemporary furniture and with chic and colourful designs, all centred around an orange theme to reflect the name of the small resort. Crisp white walls blend seamlessly with the wooden antique and rattan furniture, while specks of gold and orange lend the villa a lavish touch. Locally sourced artworks tastefully decorate the walls and nooks of the villa.
The bedroom is comprised of a queen sized bed, closet and sliding glass doors that open up to stunning views. The en-suite bathroom houses a bath tub and shower, and is air conditioned. The villa boasts a high speed internet connection, and the living room as well as the bedroom is fitted with flat screen smart TV's with local and international channels, and DVD players.
Apart from outdoor and indoor dining, the Superior Villa of Villa l’Orange does not skimp on space when it comes to relaxation. The indoor sitting area houses a built-in sea aquarium, a unique feature of this villa. Another area to lounge is the patio, which is luxuriously furnished with daybeds and tables. The lavish outdoor sitting area next to the pool is open sided and offers solitude within the arms of nature. The sea view terrace catches the sun brilliantly, especially at dusk.

Enjoy your ocean escapade in a stunning Bali holiday villa.

Bali is renowned for its fantastic beaches, and the famous ones such as Sanur are not too far away. However, if guests want to escape the commercialization of tourism, Villa l’Orange’s 4000 m2 boasts a private seaside, shared between four luxurious holiday homes. A sprawling 110 m2 swimming pool and a Jacuzzi are also at guest’s disposal. Groups of friends seeking privacy together on holiday could ideally rent the villas in conjunction. Alternatively, all villas on the compound can be rented simultaneously to host an event such as a wedding reception.
Guests of Villa l’Orange will receive VIP treatment throughout their journey, starting from the moment they arrive at the airport. Guests do not have to go through the hassle of applying for “visa on arrival” or stand in long queues for passport control and employees of the villa will assist with collecting guests’ luggage (if the guests stay at least one week). In all cases, however, a chauffeur will bring you to your residence via private car, so you can arrive in luxury and style. These services are all included in the rates of the villa.

Reviews

“5 star experience”
We have stayed in this place just for few days at the end of our short trip to Bali and I really wish I could change my choice of previous hotels. It is absolutely amazing!
But let's go one by one.
My first impression started from the booking and honestly speaking it wasn't so good. Villas have just few reviews on trip advisor and, as I thought, they are too good to be true. However I wanted to try something new and as price wasn't really high I went to their web-site for booking. It is very straightforward in explaining everything you need to know about the place, but absolutely confusing in terms of booking process. I had trouble to find proper "booking" button and then to fill the really simple booking form - it is first time I saw on hotel form not duration of stay, but quantity. Only thanks to Julian (owner) I have managed to complete it. Then few days before arrival I have called to the hotel, just to find out they are not really aware not about our booking nor about arranged transportation. Fortunately it was sorted out in few hours after they contacted Julian again.
All these small issues with booking left me worry up to the moment when we were picked up by the driver from our previous place. And from this moment good experience started - driver came in time, have no problem to take us to places we wanted to see (we have decided to rent car for full day) and also helped to arrange rafting for the next day at very good price.
Upon arrival to the villas we were welcomed by whole team and taken to our Vila. No "traditional" check-in, no checking/copying passports, no mess with your credit cards and trying to sell you additional "upgrades".
Our Vila was absolutely amazing - huge space, very well equipped and very clean. I would tell it is actually bigger than our 2 bed room house in UK. The only issues we had with it was to find electrical sockets & light switches and sliding doors on the entrance - I constantly tried to open it in normal way.
Hotel grounds are not so big, but are very green, extremely clean and well maintained. Even do all villas were occupied we have seen other guests just few times and feel like the whole place is only for us.
In terms of the food everything is freshly prepared by local chef based on your order. We have choose to have breakfast and lunches on the veranda. We also asked for lobster for dinner and it was the best one I have ever tried. As we understood only pastries were not done on the site and therefor were not at the same standard.
Service provided by the team was also absolutely amazing as they were more than happy to fulfil any kind of request and, at the same time, you don't see them while they do their normal jobs.
As mentione by other reviewers this place is located in small village and therefor there is nothing nearby and you have to ask for car to go anywhere. Another downside for us was local beach - even do vilas are located just next to it, due to very nasty sea with huge waves we had no possibility to swim and had to stay at the pool.
As conclusion I would highly recommend this place to everybody who wants to have quiet luxury vacation and don't mind to travel for local attractions. And I think it would be perfect spot especially for the honeymooners. However Julian needs to redo his booking system to make it more transparent and avoid any possibility for bad first impression.

Room Tip: Choose the room based on your party size. We found one bed room Vila perfect for couple.

“Amazing place with luxurious feel”
We had three nights in one of the amazing villa-like rooms at Villa Orange. We had +100 m2, large aquarium, small basic kitchen, one large bathroom with tub and a toilet, so really grand feel to it. The staff was nice and attentive, we had a dedicated manager, room service staff and driver (you will use the driver as there is distance to activities - small fees apply) we could call anytime by a cellphone provided by the hotel. And surrounding garden and pool area was also really nice. Food is alright and pretty fairly prized.
All in all very recommendable (and affordable) luxury.

Stayed July 2016, travelled as a couple
