Reviews

“Spectacular. ”
We worried the reviews were overstated, but standing at the infinity pool looking over the mountains left us all awestruck. This property is amazing. Too good to be true - but it is. It has a spa pavilion, a recreation pavilion (with billiards, darts, foozball), a gym and sauna (with massage chair), mini golf, a dining pavilion, outside lounges, beautiful ponds and grassed areas, a library/fully equipped office, outside toilets and showers, a poolside bar, the most stunning infinity pool with loungers under umbrellas as well as a covered and cushioned bale area, plus a large tv/entertainment room. There are five separate bedrooms, four of which are stunning, and one is smaller and has a shower, but no bath (more for the kids). Two are twin beds and three are king/queen size beds. One is huge and upstairs. One has a beautiful view over the cliffs and grounds. One has its own plunge pool, and one sits looking over the pool and mountains. Something for everyone. 4 have outside sunken baths and outside showers. The property is remote, peaceful and amazingly beautiful. Interesting art work abounds. A plethora of games and DVDs are provided. Wonderful massages and facials were arranged on the property. The villa/resort is managed by Ketut M. He is only too happy to assist with any request, anticipates needs, and ensures a smooth stay for everyone. The only problem we had was a communication issue with Ministry of Villas and the property related to the menu available, with a recent change of chef. Ministry were responsive to the complaint and sorted the issue with Ketut M. A conversation with the chef resulted in options we could all enjoy, if a bit limited outside of Indonesian cuisine. The outside bathrooms create a natural feel, but also bring the reality of a few creepy crawlies. Full mosquito netting surrounds the beds at night. Laundry is expertly done daily. Groceries attract a 30% surcharge, but are purchased at very reasonable prices. It was a paradise, self contained, quiet, private and beautiful. Old style Bali back again. Great place for families, a small conference, or groups. Excellent value for money. Approx 45 mins out of Ubud, transport available. Easy access to white water rafting from here too. Sobek recommended. It took about two hours to get from the airport to the villa. What an awesome experience it was, what a stunning property and such terrific service from all staff. A mind blowing and unique experience that none of us will ever forget. Highly recommended.
